Our Programs

Camps

Looking to get some quality playing time while learning and improving the basic skills? This camp combines skills instruction, practice, playing time and fun. We use volleylites for our kids so they can learn how to bump, set, spike, serve and dig all over the court. Our ability to learn the game while playing the game is what speeds up the learning process. Come have a blast with us! We highly recommend this camp for young athletes who want to play in our Fall League and have future plans of trying out for Middle School volleyball.

Athletes are divided by grade and skill level for some activities. Lite balls and a low net are used on one court, with a regulation net on the second. Full-day camps break for lunch from 12–1pm; half-day camps get a 15-minute snack break. Camp T-shirt included.

Experience: No experience required. Beginners welcome.

Also bring: A nut-free lunch or snack.

We have partnered with Round Rock ISD to offer volleyball camps at Pearson Ranch Middle School, 8901 Pearson Ranch Rd, Austin, TX 78717.

Spike Frog Volleyball brings fun, energy, and skill-building for elementary-aged kids. Our camps introduce volleyball through creative, age-appropriate drills that teach passing, setting, serving, and hitting while building teamwork, confidence, and sportsmanship.

Experience: No experience required. Coaches keep things positive and beginner-friendly.

What to bring: Comfortable athletic clothing, tennis shoes, water bottle, and a snack. All volleyballs and equipment are provided.

Planning on trying out for the Pro Divisions? Spike Frog Volleyball offers camps for our competitive divisions, Spike Frog Pro and Boss Frog Pro. These camps better prepare our athletes for middle school volleyball and competition against others with the same fire and intensity. Our increased training and improved coaching methods more closely emulate those of an actual school or club team, and our tournaments build your athlete’s mental confidence. Come master your serving skills while enhancing your passing and serve receive!

Athletes are separated by grade level to use the appropriate net and ball. Full-day camps break for an hour at lunch.

Experience: Intermediate. Some volleyball experience and an understanding of the basic skills required. If your athlete is still learning the basics, please choose one of our beginner camps.

Also bring: A nut-free snack.

Interested in Club Volleyball? This is the camp for you! It is designed to help transition your athlete from rec volleyball to more competitive practice and play. Athletes use the basic skills they have already learned and improve their consistency. Our goal is to expand their knowledge of the game — offense, defense, and 5-1 or 6-2 rotations — to prepare them for what they would learn on a club team. Our Austin Velocity coaches teach your athlete what it takes to make a club team and what a practice looks like. Ready for a change of pace? Join us for this fast-paced, three-day camp.

Athletes are separated by grade level to use the appropriate net and ball. Half-day camps get a 15-minute snack break.

Experience: Intermediate/Advanced. 2–3 seasons of rec volleyball or training required. If your athlete is still learning the basic skills, please choose one of our beginner camps.

Also bring: A nut-free snack.

Ready for middle school volleyball? Join us for a camp covering the basics — passing, setting, serving and hitting — to improve consistency. This camp gives your athlete insight into what is required in pre-athletics or on a school volleyball team. Our training and coaching methods closely emulate those of an actual school or club team, and our tournaments build your athlete’s mental confidence.

Clinics & Series

This series is designed for players looking to get some extra reps on the court. It covers every skill including serving, passing, setting, hitting, as well as game play. Held on Mondays.

Balls and net height depend on grade level.

Experience: Intermediate level required.

Join us for Spike Frog Serve & Pass, where our coaches focus on the two most essential skills in volleyball: serving and passing. This is a great opportunity for Spike Frog athletes to get extra reps in the gym outside of their one practice a week. You do not have to be playing in the league to join — this program is open to all, and it is a perfect way to sharpen your game and gain confidence on the court.

Balls and net height depend on grade level.

Experience: Beginner/Intermediate clinic. No experience required.

Skills Clinics are focused training sessions designed to help athletes improve specific volleyball skills in a fun, fast-paced, and encouraging environment. These clinics provide quality reps, skill-based instruction, and confidence-building coaching to help athletes continue developing their game.

Sessions are position and skill specific, built around high-repetition drills and led by experienced coaches.

Experience: Open to beginner and intermediate players.

Introducing Spike Frog FAST 4’s — an exciting, fast-paced 4v4 experience where you can play with and against your friends! Enjoy high-energy gameplay, great music, and of course, plenty of bread. Divisions are split between ages 9–12 and 13–16 to ensure proper ball and net usage.

Please note that no refunds are given for FAST 4’s.

Experience: All levels welcome. Prior experience is not required, but is recommended for the best experience.

This is an hour-long session focused only on serving. Whether you are trying to switch from underhand to overhand or want to start jump serving, this is perfect for getting you serving consistently.

Experience: All levels welcome.

This is a great opportunity to follow the Find Your Serve sessions — an hour-long session to practice serving only. This one is not led by an instructor, but an instructor is there for check-in.
