We see men on the Olympic indoor courts, professional beach, and at many universities. Where are these men getting their experience growing up? Here in Texas, there are very few Middle or High Schools promoting the sport for the boys. Parents don’t even consider it as an option for their young male athletes as a result.
Well, there IS a place for boys to play and grow in the sport. Spike Frog offers recreational opportunities for young boys to learn the basics of volleyball, and as soon as they are ready, they can play competitively on indoor club teams and outdoor beach and grass! This is a fast-growing sport that can be played long into adulthood, and when your local high school finally offers a Boys Volleyball Program, your boys will be ready.
Spike Frog is committed to growing the sport of volleyball in Austin, TX and making that sport accessible to boys. We are starting the movement by offering an option to play with other boys in all age divisions in our League play.
