League FAQ
Where are the practices and games?
We were on Coach Joe's team last season and want to be on his team again.
My daughter has never played volleyball before but her friends play and she wants to try it.
Our daughter wants to tryout for the volleyball team in Middle School. Would it be good experience for her to play in the league?
Absolutely yes. It is important your athlete gets maximum opportunity to learn and play the game. We also offer our Training for Excellence programs during the school year and the summer for those athletes that want to participate in a higher level of training with the goal to prepare for middle school tryouts. Also – our Boss Frog II Division is a higher level competitive division of play offered in the Spring season.
My daughter played in the Boss Frog I division in the Fall and wants to try out for the Boss Frog II division. What does she need to do? And what if she is not selected?
Our competitive Boss Frog II Division has several additional training, practice and tournament additions. If your athlete does not meet the criteria for Boss Frog II, she/he can play in the Boss Frog I Division for another season to gain more experience before moving to the higher level competitive division. We will post the results of the tryouts after the final tryout date and before league registration ends so that you will be guaranteed a spot in the league if you register before it closes.
What if I miss the deadline and league registration closes?
My daughter plays middle school volleyball and she and her teammates want to bring a team to the league but they don't have a coach?
My daughter wants to play on the same team as her friend Mackenzie and 2 other friends from school.
How often do league teams practice and for how long? When are the games?
We have church and dance during the week and could only practice on Tuesday or Friday nights.
Can boys play in your volleyball league?
My daughter plays softball also and they have games on Saturdays. Could she still play in the league?
Yes. We have athletes in the league that play other sports. They coordinate their game schedules and sometimes have to miss a game or two. Our teams have 10 players in the event a player is sick or has a conflict with another sport. Athletes are not penalized for missing a game.
