Spike Frog offers three youth league divisions in the Fall and Spring to boys and girls from 2nd through 8th grade. Training will focus on skill level appropriate fundamentals and drills taught by trained volunteer coaches. One difference with Spike Frog is that our league offers options for friends to play together, coach preferences and you can choose a preferred practice night if you have other kids and activities or sports to coordinate for your family.
Spike Frog also offers two Minivolley divisions to kids age 4-6 and 6-8. Minivolley programs are totally fun with a focus on play and moving athletically. We use very low nets and light balls with positive coaching.

Spike Frog Coaching Information and Tools:
Volleyball training is so critical to an athlete’s confidence that we have designed many programs for athletes of all ages to enjoy and learn. Our league season gives athletes the opportunity to practice once per week and play once per week. Our Teach and Play program offers serving, skill instruction and game play in a 90-minute session.
The Training for Excellence program is specifically designed to take proven instruction and drills adapted to the level of the athlete. We then give them the opportunity to play against others in practice with our “game-like” drills where the pace picks up and athletes apply their learning in a competitive environment.
Here’s what you can expect from the program:
We have divided the program into 4 levels of advancement and ability. What follows is a description of each level.
